We can act as your appointed CDM Principal Designer, planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health and safety during the pre-construction phase and continuing to support the project as the design develops and construction progresses.
Our service includes practical support throughout the project, liaison with designers and the Principal Contractor, periodic site audits where appropriate, and preparation of the Health and Safety File at completion.
CDM Consultant & Principal Designer Advisory Support
Where a client, architect or project manager retains the Principal Designer appointment, we can provide CDM consultant and Principal Designer advisory support, helping them understand and discharge their duties without taking over the formal appointment.
We can assist with pre-construction information, design risk management, designer coordination and other CDM matters as the project develops. We can also prepare a Construction Phase Plan for a contractor where required.
Whether we’re acting as your CDM Principal Designer or providing CDM advice behind the scenes, the aim is the same: to make CDM straightforward, proportionate and properly managed.
