Your Construction Phase Plan

The Construction Phase Plan is key to ensuring that your project runs safely. The compilation of a robust plan in the early stages of your project is crucial in setting the overall standards. Essentially the document records and sets out the Health and Safety arrangements for the construction phase of the project.

Under the CDM 2015 regulations the Principal Contractor must ensure a Construction Phase Plan has been produced prior to works commencing.

However, Contractors frequently struggle to find the time or don’t have the knowledge and resources to put a quality plan together. Also, they may not achieve consistency from project to project. Hence we’re able to produce the plan on your behalf.

Ultimately the goal is to protect your workers. However, bare in mind that it is one of the first documents the HSE will wish to view should they undertake a site inspection.

The plan should address any health, safety or design issues that were identified during the Pre-Construction phase. You should review the plan on a regular basis as the project evolves. This is particularly important if changes are made, as the plan may need to be revised and updated.

Our Construction Phase Plan package includes:

  • Advising which Pre-Construction Information is required and ensuring it is complete
  • Helping identify Duty Holder responsibilities
  • Compiling the Plan on your behalf
  • Presenting it in a user friendly format that assists rather than overburdens the Contractor

We are able to add this option to your package or provide it as a stand alone service. Please enquire below for further information:
